Heri (50), resident of Kampung Pasar Minggu, RT 07/01, Kembangan Selatan, told the dried cement clumps were spilled from concrete mixer trucks when crossing the road because there are many companies and building construction projects in the area. Moreover, the position of the road that uphill makes the contents of those trucks often fell.

“I’m standby on the road every day. So, if there was concrete mixer truck dropped cement, I immediately take action. I also have reported this problem to local RW to be followed up by the government. The clumps of dried cement really endanger road users, especially bikers,” he stated, Wednesday (10/29).

Responding on this matter, Head of West Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department, Sukowibobo, promised to immediately clean the dried cement clumps.

“If that’s the problem, we will clean it. The road is indeed always crossed by concrete mixer trucks carrying cement. And because of the uphill road condition, it makes the cement spilled out from the trucks,” he uttered.
